Don and Teri Yurkewich
Don and Teri met at a trail ride fundraiser hosted by Don’s Mom and stepdad in 1994. They have both been involved extensively with horses, camps and hosting events for many years including Teen Time camp and " It shouldn't hurt to be a child " trail ride. Both CHA certified instructors ,Don has taken farrier courses and Teri was an Animal Health Technician for many years. Don presently works in the energy industry and Teri has been an Advanced Care Paramedic for over 27 years.
Don and Teri have been in the Drayton Valley area for over 10 years and have transformed the ranch into a backyard trail riding paradise. The initial vision was to help first responders with PTSD after hosting a fundraiser for Callie's Corner in 2018.
It became very apparent that the ranch was meant for many types of individuals and groups. They have since hosted church groups, family reunions, birthday parties and first responders.

Rosie is a Brabant mare that came to us in June she needed some rehab for her feet and is still working on her summer beach body but is progressing well. Friendly, willing, safe and stout she fit right in at the Ranch!
